A lovely example of this scarce date with flashy original surfaces and a sharp strike. Just 17,000 minted with this coin being tied for the finest graded at PCGS or NGC!

A scarce date with the lowest mintage of any New Orleans Mint dollar at 300,000 coins. This is an attractive example with an above average strike and lustrous white surfaces. There are minor abrasions, consistent with the grade, but nothing heavy as is often the case for this challenging issue.
