Satiny yellow-gold luster and a sharp strike. The remnants of the ‘0’ are fairly obvious at the top and right of the ‘1’, yet this variety wasn’t discovered until 1973.

Lustrous and well struck with spot-free mint red surfaces.

Flashy with mostly white semi proof-like surfaces accented by a touch of peripheral gold toning.

This superb gem boasts blazing mint luster, icy-white surfaces, and pristine fields that are virtually free of contact marks – an impressive combination for this issue. The strike is bold and crisp, delivering full detail in Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s breast and wings.

First National Bank of Columbus. F-634. Charter # 6103. Plain Back. A problem-free note with nice borders, good color, and even wear. Signatures are still sharp. A tough note with 13 small and just 3 large according to Track & Price.

Downs National Bank, Kansas. F-632. Plain Back.

Commercial National Bank of Great Falls. F-631. Plain Back. Track & Price lists a total of 8 large and 0 small known on the bank. Paper is still fairly bright for the grade and ink signatures are bold.

Great Falls National Bank. F-627. Charter #4541. Plain Back. Well centered with strong color and paper that retains plenty of brightness and crispness. Great eye appeal and very desirable.

First National Bank of Elko. Fr 624. Charter # 7743. Plain Back. An attractive mid grade note from Elko’s only issuer. The color remains very good and wear is even.  Most known examples are Very Fine or lower. None are known in new condition according to Track & Price.
