First National Bank of Binghamton. F-469. Charter #202. Brown Back. A very attractive and scarce note that features boardwalk margins, strong color, and original paper with plenty of remaining brightness.
National Bank of Schuylerville. F-467. Charter #1298. Brown Back. A scarce bank with only 6 large and 6 small known according to Track & Price. An attractive problem-free note that exhibits strong color and only light circulation.
Second National Bank of Bucyrus. Fr. 467. Charter #3274. Brown Back. A beautiful Crawford County note that displays wide nearly even margins, strong ink, bright premium paper, and bold ink signatures. Nothing grades finer at PCGS Banknote. Great eye appeal!
Small Red Seal. Bust of Silas Wright, a prominate figure in government in the 1830’s-40’s. Excellent centering and color far superior than one would expect. Although not mentioned, there is a small upper margin tear right corner. PCGS Banknote has only graded 7 Fr. 1197’s in higher grade.
A premium near-Gem with bright, satiny luster and strong cartwheel brilliance across both sides. The strike is crisp, with well-defined hair detail and a bold eagle.
