No Motto. Just 60,000 minted from leftover 1865 dies. The Coinage Act of 1865 called for the addition of the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. However, the new dies didn’t arrive in San Francisco until March of 1866. This is a nice problem-free example with light coin-gray surfaces.
