Well struck with sharply defined details in the hair, feathers and ribbon on the obverse with a bold wreath and shield on the reverse. The surfaces are exceptionally well preserved with strong luster and no significant marks.
An attractive early proof with flashy white surfaces and minor marks consistent with the grade.
A modest 67,000 struck and, like so many ‘S’ mint coins of this era, the survival rate was very low. This is an attractive example with solid detail, pleasing light gray surfaces, and just a few marks which are consistent with the grade.
