The ‘Arrows, No Rays’ Seated Half variety was only struck for just two years with this being the only San Francisco Mint issue and by far the lowest mintage of the sub-type. This is an attractive example with solid detail and original toned surfaces.

Well struck with lustrous yellow-gold surfaces. Minimally abraded and wonderful for the grade. Pre-Civil War ‘Fives’ are tough in mint state and this date is no exception.

CAC. A problem-free circulated proof example of this classic rarity with very attractive light brown surfaces.

Slanted 5. Well struck and lustrous with mellow brown surfaces that retain a remnant of mint red.

Well detailed and lustrous with nice clean surfaces.

CAC. Outstanding for the grade with original lustrous surfaces that display fewer marks than typically seen for the grade.

Upright 5. Sharply struck with choice glossy chocolate brown surfaces.

Sharp detail with original toned surfaces and underlying luster.

Sharply struck and highly lustrous with a satiny white base and a touch of toning, mainly at the periphery.
