Liberty’s seated figure is crisp with clear drapery folds, while the reverse wreath is bold and evenly struck. Light, scattered contact marks are consistent with the grade and do not detract from the overall strong eye appeal.
A pleasing and well-detailed example of this scarcer San Francisco Seated Liberty quarter. Light silver-gray surfaces show even circulation wear but retain strong definition in Liberty’s gown folds, the shield lines, and the eagle’s wings and claws. The obverse stars and denticles remain bold, consistent with grade.
A beautiful ‘Gem’ Rainbow Ace that displays excellent blue, green, red, and black inks. The paper is both bright and original. Margins are more than ample and most of the plate number, ’11’ can be seen in the top margin on the front. Super eye appeal and highly desirable.
