Browning 1. Well detailed with attractive coin-gray surfaces.
Liberty’s hair and cap display strong definition and the reverse eagle retains sharp feathering with just light wear on the high points of the design. The surfaces are pleasing and an even light silver-gray with no significant marks and considerable remnant mint luster.
Overton-104. Sharply struck with rich lustrous silver-gray surfaces. Outstanding for the grade and very close to mint state with no obvious sign of wear.
Broken 3. Sharp detail with exceptionally nice original surfaces that retain a trace of remnant mint luster.
Broken 3. The dies on this guide book variety were prepared with a broken ‘3’ punch resulting a poorly shaped ‘3’. This is a very attractive example with sharp detail and highly lustrous surfaces. The center is silver-white with delicate peripheral gold, lavender, and blue toning at the borders.
JR-1. Solid detail for the grade with beautiful coin-gray surfaces.
Sharp detail and lustrous with light golden-gray surfaces.
Super eye appeal with vibrant mint luster and attractive toning. The strike is very sharp and a tiny touch of ‘rub’ is all that separates this beauty from a mid mint state grade!
Sharply struck with original silver-gray luster and very choice problem-free surfaces.
