Octagonal Indian Head. High R-5. Sharply struck with flashy proof-like surfaces.
Sharply struck and lustrous with a pleasing blend of mint red and light brown toning.
Well struck with lustrous mark-free surfaces and a nice blend of copper-red and light brown.
CAC. R-7. Regular Issue Die Trial struck in copper with a plain edge. Flashy mirrored surfaces with bold devices. A lovely chocolate brown color with blue-green hues outlining the design elements.
Outstanding for the grade with lustrous surfaces that blend silver-gray shading with very subtle violet-gold hues. Marks are far fewer than would be expected for the grade.
A needle-sharp strike with frosty champagne-white luster and touches of gold and violet-blue along the periphery. An exceptional example of this scarce date with just 3 pieces grading numerically finer at PCGS.
Strong detail with problem-free variegated gray surfaces.
