Sharply struck with clean surfaces that are rich violet-gold shaded on the obverse and champagne-white on the reverse. Both sides display peripheral splashes of blue accent.

This scarce Gold Commemorative was minted in 1904 and 1905, with this 1905 version being slightly better. The present example is sharply struck with bright lustrous semi proof-like surfaces.

This beautifully preserved gold dollar exhibits rich original luster, sharp detail, and pristine fields, with only the faintest marks visible under magnification.
