CAC. Sharply struck and very flashy with blazing mint luster and spot-free surfaces. A beautiful copper-nickel cent with tremendous eye appeal.
A scarce date with a mintage of 96,000 and the issue saw heavy circulation, resulting in a low survival rate of well circulated coins. In fact, no mint state examples are known. This is an attractive choice Fine with a bold LIBERTY and pleasing natural gray surfaces.
Sharply struck with lustrous white surfaces and just light high-point rub.
Outstanding for the grade with a sharp strike and strong silvery luster. The surfaces are choice with just minor tics, well within the allowance for the grade. Remnants of a 0 are visible at the base of the second 1 in the date.
Portrait of Salmon P. Chase. A popular early Legal Tender note issued during the Civil War. Inks remain strong while the paper displays even wear.
A well center early legal tender with strong inks and original paper.
A great note for the grade with rich color, bright paper and wonderful eye appeal. A tough variety, Track and Price lists only 82 known in all grades. PCGS Banknote has only certified 1 note at this grade level with just 3 notes finer.
Block CSA Watermark. A great note that displays strong color, premium paper, and 4 wide margins. A central vignette features slaves hoeing cotton. John C. Calhoun is portrayed on the left and Columbia is displayed on the right. Stamps of 3 interest payments are located on the back.
A full border wraps around bold black and green color. The premium paper is bright and original. Very eye appealing!
