Haxby NC-85-G12a. Exquisite color and near perfect margins. Vignettes include 3 maidens representing Navigation, Agriculture , and Engineering as well as a Steam Locomotive and maiden in an oval. Only 2 notes have graded 64PPQ at PGCS with just 12 finer.

A fully bordered example with even wear that saw a print run of 58,860. Vignettes include a Native American family in the center, Thetis, who had many roles in Greek mythology including water goddess at left, and a female with an X in one hand and an ear of corn in the other hand.

An attractive note with pleasing black ink and orange protectors. The paper displays light to moderate even wear.

Vignettes include a scene of a slave picking cotton, cotton transported by boat, and a resting dog. Inks remain strong and paper still retains a pleasing appearance.

PF-1. Vignettes include a central allegorical rendition of Commerce, Agriculture, Justice, Liberty, and Industry. A young woman stands at left and a statue of George Washington is at right. A total of 58,860 notes were issued. The black ink is still strong and the orange protector remains bright. The paper displays even wear.

A solid and good looking Demand note with excellent color. The signatures are strong and the margins are full. Often found with multiple problems, this note really stands out for being problem-free.

A well inked note with pleasing original paper. A total of 469,300 examples were printed between October 1861 and April 1862. A tough note at this grade level with only 13 notes graded finer at PMG and just 1 of these has an EPQ designation.
