Large Date, Small Letters. Highly desirable with even light wear and very attractive surfaces. Liberty’s portrait remains well defined, particularly in the hair curls and facial outline. The reverse eagle and wreath are clearly rendered, with strong central detail and bold legends. Surfaces are smooth and problem-free for the grade, exhibiting an attractive, natural silver-gray patina consistent with careful long-term preservation. A classic early  ‘Small Eagle Reverse’ dollar.
