Small Stars Reverse. A highly attractive early U.S. gold issue. The obverse displays a bold Liberty portrait with strong remaining detail in the hair and cap, complemented by pleasing original surfaces. Rich, warm golden coloration remains throughout, with considerable mint luster on both sides. The reverse features the distinctive Small Stars arrangement above the eagle, sharply defined with well-preserved wing and shield detail. An appealing, near-Mint State survivor with excellent eye appeal.
