From the final year of the iconic Draped Bust design, first introduced in 1796. This example displays strong detail with Liberty’s flowing hair and drapery folds still clearly defined. The reverse eagle retains strong shield lines and clear feathering despite light circulation. The surfaces are choice and an attractive light silver-gray color. This is a high quality survivor from a mintage of 165,000 coins.
