The obverse displays a sharply defined portrait with bold hair curls, a crisp cap and band, and well-struck stars set against rich lustrous fields. The reverse eagle is equally strong, with excellent feather detail throughout the wings and breast, a well-defined shield, and clear arrows and olive branch. Attractively toned in shades of light silver-gray with subtle champagne, turquoise, and golden highlights. The surfaces show smooth original texture and vibrant underlying luster. Contact marks are minimal and unobtrusive, fully consistent with the lofty MS65 designation. A choice example, combining technical quality, pleasing color, and strong visual presence.
