A pleasing, naturally toned example with attractive silver-gray surfaces accented by subtle gold and russet highlights. Considerable detail remains throughout Liberty’s figure, while the reverse is particularly sharp with strong definition in the eagle’s feathers, shield, and surrounding lettering. Smooth  clean surfaces for the grade give this early New Orleans half dollar excellent eye appeal.
