Medium D. This lightly circulated, scarce Dahlonega-minted Half Eagle, retains pleasing original gold color with warm olive-gold accents throughout. The strike is solid for the issue, with clear definition in Liberty’s hair curls and coronet, while the reverse eagle shows strong detail in the wings and shield. The surfaces are smooth with only minor marks and the eye appeal is excellent.
