A sharply struck example of this scarce early Seated Quarter, displaying well-defined obverse stars and a crisply detailed seated figure, with full drapery folds and clear definition in the head, shield, and hand. The reverse eagle is equally sharp. Lustrous silver surfaces exhibit a soft, original patina with subtle, attractive light toning and minimal marks consistent with the grade. A modest 146,000 minted with just 6 grading finer at PCGS.
