This is the finest example we remember handling and is only surpassed by 2 others graded at PCGS. The surfaces on this coin are exceptional with satiny luster and no significant abrasions. The obverse is a light chocolate brown with delicate blue tones at the periphery and the protected areas of the design. The reverse is light brown with considerable mint red. Neither side has any spots and both are sharply struck. A great addition to an advanced half cent collection!
