Soft dove-gray surfaces retain pleasing satiny luster beneath light, even circulation, with honest wear confined to the highest points. Unlike the many Mint State examples released from a New York bank hoard in the 1960’s, this specimen entered circulation, giving it the distinctive character of a true lightly circulated Seated dollar while remaining original and highly appealing.
