CAC. An incredible piece of Confederate history. Robert Lovett engraved and struck Confederate Cents in 1861 of which 13-16 are known. He then sold the dies to John Haseltine and J. Colvin Randall who struck 55 copper coins before the dies broke. This is one of the better surviving examples with smooth problem-free surfaces that retain a fair amount of faded mint red.
