A superb survivor from a mintage of just 625 coins. The obverse displays sharp detail in the star and shield, framed by smooth, reflective fields that contrast strongly with the frosted devices. The reverse shows the ornate Roman numeral “III” within a wreath, all crisply defined with rich cameo effect. The fields are deeply mirrored and undisturbed, while the frosted devices provide bold eye appeal typical of the finest strikes. Delicate, original toning adds depth without diminishing brilliance.
