The reverse is from the regular half dime die that was first introduced in 1860. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is an exceptional example displaying razor-sharp detail and deeply mirrored fields beneath a rich brown patina. Iridescent blue-green and steel highlights accent the devices, adding considerable visual appeal.
