A description of the Goloid metallic composition is inside a wreath on the reverse. Surrounding the wreath are the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is a beautiful coin with outstanding eye appeal. Both sides are nearly pristine and sharply struck with flashy mirrored surfaces, blending mint red with light iridescent lime and blue hues.
