A scarce and highly desirable early Carson City issue. This example displays an attractive, even silver-gray patina with light golden highlights and smooth, original surfaces. Liberty’s hair retains strong detail for the grade,  while the reverse eagle shows well-outlined breast feathers and wreath elements. Wear is consistent and honest, with no distracting marks, preserving excellent overall eye appeal.
