IN GOD WE TRUST is widely spaced below, along with the denomination and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the reverse. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The centers are softly struck, as is generally characteristic of this pattern issue. The surfaces are silver-white with frosted design features and deep mirrored fields. Housed in an old green label holder before PCGS started designating coins as Cameo. Approximately 12-15 pieces are believed known in silver and also in copper of this design.
