In a series that is populated by low mintage dates, 1881 takes the prize for the lowest regular issue mintage at a miniscule 500 coins. This is a pleasing example with a strong strike and orange-gold flashy surfaces that have a faint greenish hue. Minor marks are well within the definition of the grade, but none are heavy and the design features have a clean look. A popular rarity and a nice coin for the grade!
