A superb example of this first-year issue of the Liberty Nickel. The obverse displays a bold, frosty portrait of Liberty, with crisp hair detail and star definition, framed by deep cartwheel luster and light golden toning. The reverse exhibits sharp wreath detail around the large Roman numeral “V”, free of distracting marks, with booming brilliance. Incredibly well-preserved with satiny surfaces, this coin represents one of the finest known survivors of the issue.
