A sharply detailed example of this scarce New Orleans issue displaying bright, frosty mint luster across both sides. Liberty’s hair and cap exhibit strong definition, while the reverse eagle and wreath show crisp detail for the grade. Light contact marks typical of the MS63 level are present but do little to diminish the coin’s excellent overall eye appeal. A wonderful example of this very challenging date.
