Pleasing silver-gray surfaces retain considerable hair detail above Liberty’s ear and strong definition in the eagle’s wings. Light, even wear across the high points and scattered small circulation marks are consistent with the grade, leaving a well-balanced appearance. An attractive example of this key New Orleans issue which saw a mintage of just 450,000.
