After the 1911-D and the 1914 dated coins, the 1914-D is the toughest date to find in Gem grade or above. While lower grade examples are available, Gems are very elusive and desirable. This example displays a strong strike including a bold mintmark. The surfaces are original and a lustrous yellow-gold with few marks, and none of significance. Eye appeal is excellent! Only 2 MS 65+ have graded finer at PCGS.
