The 1919-D dime had a modest mintage of 9.9 million pieces, but is notoriously difficult to find well-struck, particularly with Full Bands. The obverse of this coin displays sharp detail in Liberty’s portrait, with smooth, original surfaces and soft golden-silver luster. The reverse has a sharp overall strike and is especially notable for its fully defined central bands on the fasces.
