A rare mint state survivor of one of the toughest dates in the series. This example displays lightly scattered contact marks consistent with the grade, with ample cartwheel luster and attractive silver-white surfaces. Strike definition is slightly better than average for the issue, especially in Liberty’s gown and the eagle’s legs, which are often soft on Denver Mint ‘Walkers’ from this era.
