Bust of George Washington encircled in a bronze oval, indicative of the entire Second Issue. “47” located in the lower corner, indicates this note was from a specific printing plate (often referred to as a “face plate number”). Although, it has a tight end margin, this is a tough note in any high grade. This is the only 63 EPQ with just 8 notes having graded finer at PMG.
