R-7. From regular issue dies, but struck in copper with a reeded edge. Superb quality with deeply mirrored fields displaying vivid copper-red color and subtle violet undertones, highlighting its pristine preservation and rich patina. This is the single finest graded at either service regardless of color designation.
A scarce Civil War date that saw a mintage of just 93,600. This is an attractive example with solid detail and light gray surfaces.
CAC. Rich reddish-brown luster with generous flashes of original mint red, especially around the devices and protected fields. Sharply struck with bold shield details and crisp legends. A high-quality example of the scarcer Small Motto variant from the first year of the series.

A scarce date with 90,000 minted but just 175 estimated survivors in all grades, raw and certified, according to PCGS. This is an attractive example with original and problem-free light gray surfaces and solid detail.
A Civil War date and one of the great rarities in the series with just 1,270 minted. Only 30 to 40 survivors are known. This nearly mint state example is sharply struck with bright and lustrous semi proof-like surfaces. PCGS has graded just one other AU-58 and two coins finer – both MS-61.
