Small Date, Large Fraction. S-258. Well detailed with choice surfaces that are problem-free and retain a fair amount of mint luster. The obverse is a light reddish-brown while the reverse is medium brown. An arcing die crack at the lower left of the obverse field is diagnostic of the variety.

C-5. Spiked Chin. R-4. The rarest of the 4 different Spiked Chin varieties. Well detailed and attractive with the dramatic spike coming off Liberty’s chin, plus the reverse has a heavy bisecting die crack with additional peripheral die cracks.
Spiked Chin. Glossy brown surfaces with a fair amount of remnant faded red.

14 Star Reverse. An outstanding example of this rare and desirable coin from a low-mintage year. Just 2,827 minted and an estimated 150 to 200 known survivors. This near-mint state specimen displays strong eye appeal with vibrant golden luster and only the slightest signs of friction on the high points of the design.
