CAC. Blazing nickel-white luster and a great strike with beautiful choice surfaces. Fantastic quality with just a single coin grading numerically finer at PCGS.
This high quality proof displays deeply mirrored fields and sharply struck devices, with Liberty’s portrait and the wreath-enclosed Roman numeral “V” rendered in exceptional detail. The reflective surfaces are unblemished and accented by a light champagne patina.
Rich, original golden surfaces display satiny luster and pleasing color throughout. Liberty is boldly rendered with clear definition, while the reverse eagle shows sharp feather detail and well-defined rays. A solid, attractive Mint State example of this better early Saint-Gaudens issue. Just 52,500 minted. Housed in an old green label holder.
Rich satiny luster and a sharp strike with beautiful surfaces displaying minimal marks. Very nearly a Gem!
Sharply struck and lustrous with light silver-gray toning and just a touch of high-point rub.
CAC. A better date with a mintage of 712,000 which was low for the era. This is a well detailed example for the grade with natural coin-gray surfaces.
From the final year of the Indian Head Cent series and a scarce date with by far the lowest mintage at 309,000 coins. This is a well detailed example with choice light chocolate-brown surfaces.
