A prominate Delaware financial institution in operation from 1810 until its liquidation in November 1912. Known as the “Concordia”, the central vignette features two allegorical women grasping hands before a burning alter, representing harmony. One of only four aces known with only one finer. A truly scarce, comment free, example.

R-7.  A transitional pattern with the reverse of 1866, which added IN GOD WE TRUST, paired with the regular issue 1865 obverse.  Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is a gorgeous example with choice brown surfaces highlighted by bright blue overtones.
