Portrait of George H. Thomas, Union Army Major General, known as the ‘Rock of Chikamauga’. Strong inks are surrounded by well balanced margins with sharp corners. The white premium paper provides an excellent backdrop. PCGS Banknote lists 4 notes at this grade level with none finer.

CAC. Frosty white devices sit on watery-white reflective fields and produce a stunning ‘cameo’. The strike is needle sharp and there are fewer marks than typically found for the grade. Very nearly a GEM with strong eye appeal!
