A Civil War date and one of the great rarities in the series with just 1,270 minted. Only 30 to 40 survivors are known. This nearly mint state example is sharply struck with bright and lustrous semi proof-like surfaces. PCGS has graded just one other AU-58 and two coins finer – both MS-61.
Very attractive with no significant marks and highly lustrous surfaces.
Fancy 5. Sharply struck with strong swirling mostly red luster. The surfaces are flashy and mark-free with minor spots that impede a higher grade.

First National Bank of Paola. Fr 382. Charter #1864. Original Series. A rare Miami County bank that only issued First Charter examples. Just 4 notes are known according to Track & Price. This example displays good color and even wear.
R-7. A transitional pattern with the reverse of 1866, which added IN GOD WE TRUST, paired with the regular issue 1865 obverse. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is a gorgeous example with choice brown surfaces highlighted by bright blue overtones.
