Rich chocolate-brown surfaces are smooth and evenly colored, with a pleasing, natural appearance for the grade. The strike is strong, showing sharp definition through Liberty’s hair and coronet as well as the reverse wreath and lettering. A touch of rub is confined to the highpoints of the design and underlying luster is found mainly at the periphery.
