A desirable Charlotte Mint issue from the heart of the Southern gold era. Extremely well struck with strong detail in Liberty’s curls and the reverse eagle, complemented by bright, original yellow-gold luster. Marks are minimal, light, and  scattered. They don’t diminish this coin’s excellent eye appeal.  A scarce and beautiful branch mint Half Eagle, housed in an old green label holder.
