The obverse shows clear portrait detail with light, even wear confined to the highest points, while the reverse wreath and lettering remain well defined. Surfaces retain attractive original golden color with traces of remaining luster in protected areas. A weak U in UNITED is diagnostic for this issue, as is a filled O in DOLLAR. Just 1,460 minted and fewer than 100 known today.
