A pleasing near-Mint example with light silver-gray surfaces and considerable remaining luster. Well defined throughout, with only light wear on the high points and remarkably clean surfaces for the grade. Just 43,690 pieces were struck, and very few were saved. Today this is one of the rarest late-date Seated Liberty dimes, particularly elusive in the higher circulated grades.
