Even medium-gray toning gives this key-date Morgan a pleasing, well-balanced appearance. Liberty’s hair retains substantial detail, while the eagle’s wings remain sharply defined, with light wear across the higher points consistent with the grade. Scattered small marks are unobtrusive to the overall eye appeal. A handsome example of the most elusive regular-issue Morgan dollar.
