Bright silver-white obverse surfaces retain strong luster and give the coin a fresh appearance, while the reverse displays attractive light toning. The strike is sharp, with strong definition throughout Liberty’s portrait and the eagle’s feathers and shield. Only slight friction is evident on the highest points, with relatively clean surfaces for the AU58 grade. A particularly attractive near-Mint Barber half dollar.
