Rare Coins & Currency
Smooth, even silver-gray surfaces give this coin a pleasing, natural appearance. Honest circulation is accompanied by strong remaining detail through the portrait, including the hair and feather detail, while the bison remains well defined. No distracting marks other than a minor obverse lamination, as made. The important 1918/7 overdate is clearly visible. One of the major rarities of the Buffalo nickel series and particularly desirable at the VF level.
