Lincoln’s portrait is razor-sharp, the fields are fully frosted and satiny, and the reverse shows flawless wheat ears with outstanding eye appeal. 1931-S had a low mintage of just 866,000 pieces, the second lowest in the series behind the 1909-S VDB. Only a single coin has graded finer at PCGS.
