A superbly preserved example of this scarce issue which had one of the lowest mintages of any commemorative at 2,105 coins. The obverse displays conjoined portraits of a Native American chief and a frontier settler, while the reverse features a powerful eagle in flight before a radiating sunburst. This MS67 specimen exhibits sharp definition, smooth satin luster, and attractive light golden toning, with exceptional eye appeal.
